    Journeyman Timber Framer
    A journeyman timber framer should be skilled at laying-out and cutting simple and complex joinery using hand tools and power tools. The applicant must be able to read and check plans and maintain a high level of accuracy and efficiency during timber frame production and assembly. The applicant must be in excellent physical condition, have good organizational skills, and be willing to plan and supervise frame raisings. When functioning as a job a captain, the journeyman timber framer acts as a communication link between Timbercraft's production facility and the owner's representative at the building site. The applicant must be willing to travel to job sites and occasionally work away from home for a week or two at a time. Basic computer skills are a plus.

    Apprentice Timber Framer
    An entry-level timber framer should have good woodworking skills, an aptitude for 3-D visualization and a working knowledge of geometry and trigonometry. The applicant should have the ability to work with basic power tools, be in good physical condition and enjoy working at heights. The applicant must be willing to travel to job sites and occasionally work away from home for a week or two at a time.

    CNC Machine Operator
    A Timbercraft machine operator operates and IBM compatible computer in the Windows operating system. In addition to a working knowledge of CNC production equipment, the applicant should have good mechanical skills, basic carpentry skills and the ability to operate and maintain power equipment. The machine operator must be in good physical condition and capable of handling heavy timbers. The machine operator may be required to work on an alternate shift schedule.

    Architect/Designer
    The applicant must have a minimum of 5 years professional experience, a thorough knowledge of structure, a playful imagination and an interest in working with an innovative design/build team. Responsibilities include: client interviews, schematic design presentation sketches, developmental drawings and construction documentation. This position requires AutoCAD proficiency. Familiarity with 3-D modeling is helpful. Design/build experience a plus. If an architect, the applicant must be able to qualify for a license in Washington State.

    CAD Designer/Drafter
    A Designer/Drafter works with the design team to design and draft timber frame residences and commercial structures. The qualified candidate is a detail-oriented individual with at least three years professional experience in architectural and structural drafting. The applicant must be proficient in AutoCAD14/200. Familiarity with 3-D modeling. Previous design/build experience useful.
