Sunapee lodge, completed in 1999, is the central gathering place of one of New Hampshire's oldest ski resorts, located about 1-1/2 hours drive north of Boston. The
ski area has 60 slopes and trails for downhill skiers and two cross-country centers
with more than 100 km of groomed trails. In the off-season, Sunapee Lodge and
dining room hosts to weddings and other public gatherings.

In the fall of 2001, we raised a school in Fukuoka, Japan. Job Captain, Dustin Martin, describes the project as "a great challenge throughout. The size and number of timbers made this one of the larger productions to come through Timbercraft."

Still, despite the large size of the project plus intense rain and heat while raising the school, the Sasaoka project went together very smoothly. The team putting the frame together was knowledgeable and experienced, making this an efficient project from start to finish.

When we completed raising the frame, we had a chance to show the kindergarten classes how their school had been built.

Ryosei Kaneko, an accomplished timber framer who is experienced both in American and Japanese timber framing, helped on this project.

Ryosei is considered to be an incredible and agile climber by those who work with him.

Much to the kindergarteners' delight, Ryosei climbed all the way to the top of the frame for them. The children also learned about Timber framing and even had a little hands-on fun.

Yep! But you won’t find any bulbous orange and yellow vegetables here.

In March, Timbercraft raised this timber frame with scissors trusses for a Squash court.

Architect Alex Antonelli designed the building for a home on Lake Waramaug, near Warren Connecticut.

Since one end of the timber frame barn will be completely finished in glass, it includes a steel moment frame.
